Through the Years

Early on, Kathy knew she wanted a career in HR and began working as a generalist with Four Seasons Hotels while finishing her MBA. She spent 15 years progressing in HR leadership roles within multinationals and start-ups, and throughout sought to blend her MBA foundation and HR background. She worked side-by-side with her business leaders, honing her skills with everyone from executive chefs to country directors during her stint in Hong Kong. Kathy’s entrepreneurial exposure, competitive spirit and desire to run a business has made her current role as Managing Director of hrQ in Texas a perfect fit!

Lonnie is a dynamic human resources executive with over 30 years of experience. His work in human resources has given him depth in executive coaching, organizational development, preventive labor relations and employee relations, acquisitions, integration and culture change. Lonnie has demonstrated his ability to lead change initiatives. He has earned a reputation for his judgment and high integrity and served as a coach and advisor to CEOs, COOs, CFOs, CIOs and numerous other senior leaders in mid-sized and multi-national organizations.

Whether collaborating with a senior management team on talent acquisition initiatives or researching to identify the best talent for a particular culture, Cindi feels right at home. After graduating from college, Cindi began her career recruiting for a staffing firm and then went into corporate recruiting and management. In 2002, she made her home in Houston’s thriving Oil & Gas and Energy communities and is proud to have worked for some of the most prestigious companies in that arena including Aramco Services, Direct Energy and Atwood Oceanics. Cindi’s recruitment and corporate HR experience, industry knowledge, and common sense approach are true assets when partnering with clients and candidates.

Shelly began her career in the hospitality industry where she honed her customer service and partnering skills. She was first exposed to the staffing industry as a candidate; the organization then recruited her to join their team and so began her career in recruiting. Shelly has spent the past 11 years providing exceptional candidates to a diverse cross-section of companies in a multitude of industries including oil and gas, financial services, real estate, hospitality, energy services, and educational institutions. She went the corporate route as a recruiter for a full-service real estate company and joins hrQ as an Associate focused on sourcing and staffing for contract and full-time HR professionals. Shelly’s success centers around her service-oriented focus and desire to assist clients in acquiring top-notch HR talent, along with providing meaningful direction to those seeking to achieve individual career goals.
